LA 课程是我们为孩子们精心准备的以英语为母语教授方式的语言课程。我们采用的Treasure课程是由加利福利亚洲教育部门采纳的语言艺术课程。它由阅读和写作课程组成，通过这课程学生将会掌握到英语的学习技巧以及阅读和写作能力的提高。课程的重点在课堂互动、内容的理解、写作以及口语练习。教材的每册书中有6个UNIT，每个UNIT有5个Theme（主题），这些主题涉及的范围很广，有社会生活类的话题，有科学探索类的话题，有童话故事、寓言故事 等。听、说、读、写都具备，其中不乏非常本土地道的母语英文表达，能够对孩子接触并了解西方文化打下很好的基础。课文中有很著名的获奖英文绘本，配上美轮美奂的插图、生动活泼的文字，让学习成为一种乐趣！通过精读课文、词汇理解、主题演讲、角色扮演、写作创作，批判性思维等丰富的主题内容，提升孩子英语阅读、听力、口语、写作等综合能力。

我们Treasures Language Arts课程的任课教师都是资深的ESL老师；而我们录取的学生也都是通过选拔，在英语方面基础较好的孩子。我们通过两方面结合以确保学生们能够顺利地学习该课程。我校Treasures Language Arts课程的教学达成标准是以美国大部分州教育署拟定的核心标准为主要依据，再进行本土化调整后实施的。

The Treasures Language Arts Program is an after-school program that offers a language arts program designed for native speakers of English to Fushan students. The Treasure curriculum is a Language Arts curriculum adopted by California`s State Department of Education. It is an integrated reading and writing program where students will learn the skills of studying English as well as content. The program emphasizes interactivity , understanding of the content , writing, and oral English practice. It is very popular with students who do no t speak English as a first language.

All teachers in the program are experienced ESL teachers, and they will provide regular e-mail updates to you to keep you informed of the curriculum as it is covered, the learning objectives of their classes, the benchmarks administered to assess student progress, and any special activities or events that might be planned.
